As a Director of Diagnostics at Global Health Labs (GH Labs), Jamie Purcell leverages her more than ten years of experience in point-of care diagnostics and clinical validation to the research, development, and commercialization of novel NAAT assays, particularly PCR-based sample-to-result infectious disease assays that are effective and affordable for providers in resource-constrained healthcare settings.

Prior to GH Labs, Jamie spent nearly a decade in the private sector leading the research, development, clinical validation, and commercialization of in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products.

Jamie earned her PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Oregon and both her MS and BS in Chemistry from Utah State University.
