As Vice President of Research and Product Development at Global Health Labs (GH Labs), Rob Jenison oversees the development and translation of our technology portfolio into products that address unmet healthcare needs in low- and middle-income countries.

Prior to joining GH Labs, Rob served as Vice President of Product Development and Commercialization Strategy at Global Good, an investment fund of Intellectual Ventures. Previously, he served as Chief Technology Officer/SVP R&D at Great Basin Scientific (now Vela Diagnostics), where he led the creation of a molecular diagnostic platform that resulted in six FDA-approved products.

Before that, Rob led the development of a high-throughput genotyping platform at Thermo Biostar in collaboration with the Nichols Institute, Quest Diagnostics. Early in his career, Rob also developed RNA-based diagnostic and therapeutic agents at NeXstar Pharmaceuticals and Ionis Pharmaceuticals. Rob holds a BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego.
